Sand & Sandals Desaru Beach Resort & Spa, Desaru

I had a lovely stay at the resort spa, where the ambience by the beach truly added to the experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a comforting retreat after a long day. While the service was helpful, I did face some delays with room readiness. The beach location was fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed the private beach vibe. However, the dining experience fell short due to limited options and a lack of cleanliness in the buffet area.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right by the beach, making it super convenient for swimming and relaxing by the shore. My room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the ocean, which I loved waking up to. However, breakfast was pretty slow and limited, which was a bit frustrating. While the service at check-in was quick, they didn't fulfill my extra bed request during a busy weekend, and that impacted my experience. Overall, it's a lovely place, but a few service tweaks would make it even better.
